A thermo couple which will produce current of up to 100A in a very low resistance circuit when cooling on end and heating the other at the same time over a Bunsen burner. This current can be used to demonstrate magnetic effects. A soft iron block with polished contact surface surrounding the thermocouple will resemble an electromagnet which will easy carry a load of up to 50N
